Mattress Comfort Wars
How does one determine the comfort of a mattress in a showroom? The answer is: you don't, all you can get is a first impression and if your first impression is incorrect which is frequent, well tough crap... go back to dealer, reselect and try again with another selection. Sounds fair but is it??? How many times can you re select before you are given the ole, 'last chance'. Water 'done properly' is mega versatile so the chances of poor performance is almost zero. Key term here is, 'done properly' this isn't free flow sloshy in the box mattress but rather stabilized properly filled and digitally temperature controlled. whatcha think about that??? Why don't we hear about waterbeds anymore
This is my first time posting. Before now I was a blogging virgin but no more... As the last waterbed salesman I ask the question I already know the answer to but most folks don't. The question is,"why don't we hear about waterbeds anymore?"
The answer is more than one reason but one of the primary reasons is that other mattress companies don't want to offer them for sale because it costs them more money to deliver. More in both time allotted to each delivery as well as training of delivery person. If you are reading this blog you probably would qualify as a regular mattress delivery person but precious few would be trusted to deliver a waterbed into a customers home without training and trustworthiness. The fact that the potential benefits of water exceed any other product on their showroom floor when used properly only makes the decision to downplay flotation even greater.
I believe the public is being duped by the marketeers and the profiteers. Well, this is the American way of today and whacha think about that ??
